The BISKIT consortium took part in this year’s “Innovationsforum Zivile Sicherheit” organized by the federal ministry of education and research (BMBF) from 2.- 4. May 2022 in Berlin. BISKIT presented a poster on the potential of information systems in crisis intervention and management for blood establishments during the conference. Furthermore, many exciting intersections with other projects are intensified. Moreover, the Innovationsforum provided the stage for inspiring projections of future civil security.
Following the conference, the BISKIT consortium met for a one-day work meeting to align the next steps in the project. For most of the BISKIT consortium, it was the first time meeting in person, so all highly appreciated the encouraging discussions. Finally, we all enjoyed the team spirit in an authentic Berlin coworking space.
